Causes of Pain from Cancer and Cancer Treatment

compassionate doctor for nerve pain

Cancer pain can be caused by a variety of factors, including the cancer itself, treatments like radiation and chemotherapy, and complications from cancer such as nerve damage or bone fractures. Cancer pain can also come from the side effects of the treatments, such as nausea and fatigue.

For those with advanced cancer, pain can be caused by a tumor pressing on bones, organs or nerves, or by cancer that has spread to the bones or other organs. Pain can also be caused by the treatments themselves, such as surgery, radiation therapy or chemotherapy.

Often, our patients come due to the severity of the impact of the treatments on their body.  If you are struggling with symptoms from treatment, you are not alone.   We are here to help.
